New in Beauce this fall

New in Beauce this fall

September 18, 2015

"Things not to be missed in October in the Beauce area"

Over 20 tourism companies from the Beauce area recently joined forces to create a brand new fall tourist trail.

This road brings together a wide range of activities offered in October and related to Halloween or fall. Proposed events include Halloween activities such as those presented by Zone Toxic and special workshops. Other events let you enjoy majestic fall landscapes through hiking, pick-your-own and other activities.

Restaurants and accommodations are also taking part in this project. Some restaurant owners even added an original touch, for example La Pépite d'Or cheese factory, which developed a special, "Zone Toxic"-themed poutine.

The goal of this unifying project is to present a global touristic offer that will enable local people and visitors alike to make discoveries spanning one or several days.

To get all the necessary information, you can browse the following map (French only) : The trail is shown in a dynamic version, "Google Maps" style, that shows where businesses are located and explains the activities offered.

Here is the paper version (French only) of the trail that you can download.

To make this new tourism product known, promotion campaigns will be conducted mainly on the Web through newsletters and on Facebook. The website www.destinationbeauce.com will take a "Halloween and Fall" look to encourage people to discover these activities.
