At the Taylor Manor, designated historic site, each room is home to several original artefacts directly from the past of the Taylor family. A wide range of pictures representing people who inhabited the Manor throughout the years are displayed on the walls. On that matter, the two co-owners note that the Taylor Manor Inn is mostly a living museum.
The inn boasts seven room upstairs, including the masters bedroom, still furnished with the Taylor couple’s original furniture. Clients who spend the night in this room will literally feel like they’re spending the night in a museum.
Other buildings located on the manor’s grounds have also been brought back to life, including the barn, home to hens, rabbits and a goat. There also is a beautiful flower garden and a vegetable garden just like in the old days.
The two owner also replanted the vegetable and flower gardens of the Taylor family.
“We wanted to pay tribute to the family, who lived during a time where producing yourself most of your food was a necessity”, notes James Hunter.
