The Perrault covered bridge in Notre-Dame-des-Pins is the longest in the province and the second longest in Canada. It is also classified as historic monument by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec.
Built in 1928 and inaugurated in 1929, this bridge is one of the oldest examples of that type of construction. Witness of the past in a beautiful scenery, it has become a must over the year and many tourists make it their destination in Beauce. Its picture is often used for promotional purposes by the different tourist services in Beauce and in the province of Québec.
Gateway to the cycling path ‘Sentier des Jarrets noirs’, a tourist and rest area has been carefully developed for your convenience. You will find picnic tables, playing facilities for children, restrooms, and even bicycles for rent.
You can go over it by bike in the summer and by snowmobile in the winter. A rest area was built nearby with themed signs and picnic areas. Walking tours.
