The Parc-des-Rapides du Diable is located right in the heart of Beauce by the Chaudière River, and is easily accessible from Route 173 South when leaving Beauceville. This park offers visitors 400 meters of walking trails among beautiful trees, some picnic areas and a great view of the river and its rapids called ‘Rapides-du-Diable’ by the locals. The park’s thematic signs reveal some interesting historical information about gold nuggets that were found by the first settlers, the origin of its name, and the influence of Benedict Arnold over the region.
