Domaine de la Seigneurie
Located in the urban district of Saint-Georges, this recreation and tourist area holds an island and a forest, as well as walking and cycling paths over the Chaudière and Pozer rivers.
Domaine de la Seigneurie, on the Pozer farm, covers 80 hectares and is divided into three parks recently designed for leisure and recreational purposes for the community and visitors alike: walking, cycling, summer skating in magnificent scenery on ten kilometres of pathways. You can either stroll along the rivers or walk up to the Sept Chutes park (seven falls) where people gather for family reunions or special community events.
A natural island accessible by two footbridges linked by a walking path lit at night. A 2.6 km urban lake made possible by an unique pneumatic dam keeping the water level. There is also a boat ramp and pier for fishing and various activities.
The walking trails are open in wintertime.
